CEBU OPEN CIRCUIT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS





Watch out for a new Tournament League coming your way as we will be bringing you the Cebu Open Circuit!
  
Starting this September, we will be hosting a series of Tournaments in Cebu that will act as qualifying rounds for the Grand Finals of the Circuit. A Maximum of 32 Teams will be allowed to compete for the qualifier prizes and a chance to qualify for the Circuit Grand Finals for the ultimate prize.

Those who make it to the top 2 of each qualifier will secure a spot. Teams who have already qualified for the finals can no longer join the remaining monthly tournaments.

TEAM ELIGIBILITY

The Tournament is open to all level 30 players regardless of rank except those competing in the current Pro Gaming Series (PGS) season.

All teams must be composed of five (5) Players.

Teams are allowed to have one (1) reserve member. (The reserve player is not eligible for rewards unless they actively play in the tournament)

There is a maximum of 32 slots available for the tournament.

This is an on-site tournament. All matches will be played in the café with all the team members present.

Teams who have placed 1st or 2nd in the qualifiers will be eligible to join the Grand Finals.

The top 2 teams for each qualifier will no longer be allowed to join the other qualifiers.

Cebu Open Circuit Tournament Rules, Mechanics & Guidelines
TEAM ELIGIBILITY

REGISTRATION
  1. Registration Forms are available in the internet café.
  2. The following information are needed for each team: team name, team, captain, full name, Summoner name, Garena User ID, and contact numbers.
  3. Forms with incomplete information will NOT be accepted.
  4. Teams are reserved their slot once they have paid the required registration fee. However, if a team fails to arrive at the venue within  15 minutes of the designated call time will have their reserved slot forfeited.

MECHANICS
  1. The format is  team single eliminations wherein a team will be eliminated after one (1) loss.
  2. All teams are expected to be in the venue ten (10) minutes before their match. Failure to arrive five (5) minutes before their match will result in disqualification.
  3. All matches will be played based on the following game settings:
    1. Map: 5v5 Summoner’s Rift
    2. Game Type: Tournament Draft
    3. Spectators: Lobby Only
  4. Only the organizers and marshals have the power to any team warnings, or complete disqualifications if they violate any of the points below.
ETHICS
  1. The tournament is organized and marshalled by the café team.
  2. Any offense to the organizers will result in the disqualification of the team.
  3. Participants and observers are not allowed to stand behind any competing teams during the match.
  4. Only the organizers and marshals have the power to any team warnings, or complete disqualifications if they violate any of the points below:
  1. Warning
  • Excessive Shouting (We don’t want to disturb other matches or establishments nearby)
  • Trash Talking (The tournament wants to uphold sportsmanship. Such behaviour will not be tolerated.)
  • Sudden Pauses in the game (All participants are expected to inform the marshals and the opponents before pausing the game. We do not want to disrupt the game flow.)
  • Damage to Hardware (The hosting café is kind enough to celebrate gaming with us. It is only proper that we take care of the stations we use.)
  1. Disqualification
  • Offense to the marshals (The marshals are there for security and enforcement of rules to keep the peace and order of the tournament. Their decision is final)
  • Fighting outside matches (If teams are reported to have brawled outside the café, the marshals have the right to disqualify the teams after deliberation.)
  • Sabotage (If any participant is caught tampering with hardware, and/or any action that will result to the impairment of performance of other parties. The marshals have the right to disqualify the offender, their team and affiliates in the act.)
  1. A team may only incur a maximum of two (2) warnings. A third offense will result in disqualification.
  2. Rematches are only allowed before the 20 minute mark in the following circumstances:
  1. Lag due to ISP or server (any other sustained lag or fps drops will not qualify)
  2. Bug splat disconnections
  3. Pulled wires
  4. Any oversight such as wrong set of runes and/ or masteries is the sole responsibility of the players.
  1. In any instance that a rematch is allowed, the teams will select the same champions, and ban the same selections for the draft pick.
